COMMUNITY EDUCATION
PPCs Education and Training Department staff are available to provide community education workshops to your parent or youth group. Our highly interactive, practical workshops are designed to maximize learning about sexuality and sexuality-related topics in a comfortable, positive environment. Our age-appropriate, medically accurate materials and resources reflect our cultural competence and commitment to meeting the needs of our audience. Workshops can range in time from an hour to multiple sessions to best meet your needs.

The Education and Training Department of Planned Parenthood of CT offers a wide range of dynamic and highly interactive in-service trainings. We can provide professional development on-site to your faculty or staff. Each training is customized to meet your unique needs. We offer the most up-to-date information, proven skills, motivational activities, and reliable resources that can be used with the diverse populations with whom you work.
Whether you have seasoned staff in need of refresher or new staff wanting a solid foundation, we can meet your professional development needs in creative, thorough manner targeting adult learners. CEUs & NASWs are available through our trainings. Trainings can range in time from a couple of hours to multiple days to fit the needs of your audience or organization.
